Foil
Gusseted Bags: Foil
gusseted bags are the established package format for fresh
coffee. These bags seal in the fresh-roasted aroma and
taste customers love. Foil gusseted bags provide high
barrier protection against freshness robbing moisture
and oxygen. The foil bag is a three-layer structure made
from true aluminum foil. The structure of this film provides
some of the highest levels of oxygen, water, aroma, flavor
and light barriers available. The high-grade polyethylene
sealant layer offers a hermetic seal with strong integrity.
The heavy construction of this specialty film also gives
a durable, quality feel to the bag while protecting your
product against handling.
Bags
larger than the 2 oz size come with one-way CO2 de-gassing
valves. Fresh-roasted coffee gives off CO2 gas capable
of causing bags to burst. The valve allows the gas to
escape while retaining fresh aroma and taste.
